Who We Are
Church of the Advent is a welcoming Episcopal church in Medfield, Massachusetts. Our parish serves individuals and families from Medfield, Dover, Norfolk, Millis, Walpole, and other nearby communities in the greater Boston area.
As part of the Episcopal Church, we are a Christian community centered on worship, prayer, learning, and service. Each Sunday we gather for worship, and throughout the week members of our parish participate in ministries of fellowship, spiritual formation, and outreach.

Strategic Planning
In the fall of 2023, many of us participated in the Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT). Using the CAT results as the foundation, the Strategic Planning Team discerned Core Values which inform our purpose statement and our strategic targets and goals for the coming years.
PURPOSE STATEMENT
We are a vibrant and authentic faith community that boldly proclaims that God is Love.
Inspired by the example of Jesus’ expansive and unconditional love, we open wide our doors for joyful worship and deepening of relationships as we grow together in the knowledge and love of God.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we go forth gladly to serve the world, loving others as God loves us.
