Adult Formation

The Church of the Advent believes strongly in delving into our Christian life through study, worship, and prayer.

Children's Ministry

Please check out our Youtube channel for our Sunday School videos.  With our church being closed for in-person Sunday School, we have many lessons available in a video format.

Children's formation begins with Sunday School.  Sunday School is offered most Sundays beginning with Children's Chapel at 9:15am.  We also have a Jr. Youth Group for 3rd through 5th graders.

The Church of the Advent has many vibrant ministries focused both on the Church and our surrounding community.

Youth Ministry

The Church of the Advent has a vibrant Youth Group (6th grade and up).  We also have a two year confirmation class.

Bible Study

Join us on Wednesday mornings for our Weekly Bible Study.  Bible Study began on February 24th and will continue into the Spring.  Currently, Bible Study must meet via Zoom.   Please contact the rector to participate.  This year's series will be on the Gospel of St. John.

Cereal Drive

Medfield Food Cupboard

The Church of the Advent has long dedicated itself to feeding the hungry.  During this time of pandemic and economic upheaval, we will be rededicating outselves to this important ministry.  Unfortunately, the food cupboard cannot take donations of food at this time, but we will be collecting cash gifts.

Community Worship

Come and worship with us on each and every Sunday.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of  holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm,  joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.
