Church of the Advent!

Our Doors are Always Open.

Happy Fall everyone.  The Church of the Advent has begun its program year and I hope you will join us.

Sunday School, youth group, and jr. youth group are off to a great start.  .

All youth are invited to participate.

Our services of Holy Eucharist are at 8:00 am and 9:30 am.

This week will begin our weekly Bible Study.  This year we will be focusing on the middle of our Bibles known as the deuterocanonical material.  We meet on Wednesday mornings at 8:30am.

You may notice that we are hosting more large construction equipment than you are used to seeing.  This is part of our handicap accessibility project.construction pic cement mixer  We are building a new ramp to our main entrance while building new stairs.  We are very excited to have this happening and look forward to its completion.

The Advent is a loving and faithful community that  seeks to follow Jesus in our often chaotic modern  world.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of  holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm,  joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.

Further down the page you will find some important events in the life of the church.
