Welcome to the

Church of the Advent!

The Lenten season is a time to reflect and rededicate ourselves to what is truly important.  We invite you to a holy Lent at the Church of the Advent.  We will be studying the Gospel of John for our adult education, we will study the Lord's Prayer and the life of Jesus in our Sunday School, and our youth group is working on addressing hunger in our area.

The Advent is a loving and faithful community that  seeks to follow Jesus in our often chaotic modern  world.  We worship the Lord in the "beauty of  holiness" with a theologically rich liturgy and a warm,  joyful spirit.  I encourage you to make the Church of the Advent your new spiritual home.  We will all be better for your presence.

Further down the page you will find some important events in the life of the church.
