Building & Grounds

Monitors the overall conditions of the church's properties and oversees the maintenance and improvements as needed

Communications Committee

Facilitates commincations about our Parish through our website and a variety of channels both within the church and to the wider community

Fellowship Committee

Sponsors events which bring parishioners together to observe special times of the church year or just to gather for the purpose of good fellowship

Newcomers Committee

Identifies and reaches out to potential new parishioners and, when they start attending, welcoming them into the parish family

Outreach Committee

Plans and organizes activities that provide assistance to others in need, involving the parish in local, national and international levels of outreach response

Spiritual Life Committee

Works with the Rector to plan ways and events to help meet the needs and enhance the spiritual life of our parishioners

Worship Committee

An advisory group to the Rector, examining liturgy and finding ways to enrish our worship experiences as a church family

Ministries
Altar Guild Assists the Rector in preparing for services. Oversees the maintenance of the altar, sabctuary and sacristy areas, vessels and linens
Chalice Bearers, Lay Readers and Lectors Assist at Sunday services reading Bible lessons, leading prayers and offering the chalice at Communion time
Choir Coming soon
Acolytes Assist at Sunday services by carrying a processional cross, lighting candles, holding the Gospel book, holding candles or "torches", assist the Rector set up and clean up at the altar, and hand/recive the offering plates to/from ushers
Ushers May be adults and young people, serve in pairs at each service greeting, handing out bulletins, taking the collection and Eucharistic gifts to the altar and generally assisting as needed
Flower Guild Orders and arranges flowers on a weekly basis and on festival days. On Mondays the altar flowers are rearranged in smaller vases and delivered to parishioners in special circumstances
Church School Coordinator and teachers present the interactice "Godly Play" curriculum to pre-schoolers through grade five. There are also Pre-Confirmation and Confirmation classes for grades six through nine.
